Beatrix Potter Preface

I am going to give you an over view of Beartix Potters life for a school project. the book I am using is called Beatrix Potter A Life in Nature and it's written by Linda Lear.
Mrs. Potter is famously known for her story called Peter Rabbit. This book is loved by most all who read it.
 During her younger life she loved to paint animals. As she got older her paintings became more and more artistic and her drawings had more feeling in them.

Even I had most all her well known books!!! 

She printed her first book in the 1900's with an editor by the name of Norman Warne. In 1905 the pair were soon happily engaged. But very soon after, Norman died. She set out on her own, single, and different. She was teated unfairly by the towns folk for striking out like a man. She bought her own property and did very well for a single lady in that day. More and more books and paints were created by this genuine woman. Much more is to be said of her in future posts.
